Sophia Sejin Kim is a mixed media installation artist and educator based in Fort Lee, New Jersey. She holds a BA in Visual Arts with a concentration in Art Education P-12 from Montclair State University and an MA in Studio Practice for Art Educators from Teachers College, Columbia University. Her practice centers on ceramic sculpture, drawing on fabric banners, and participatory installation. Rooted in biblical narratives and worship, her work explores themes of growth, healing, and human connection. Through participatory installations, she creates spaces for reflection and shared storytelling. As an artist educator, Sophia is passionate about the power of art to communicate stories and inspire transformation in individuals and communities. Alongside her studio practice, she serves in Christian ministry, where she cultivates creative communities grounded in faith, encouragement, and shared purpose.
